Jennifer served in the United States Air Force for twenty-three year. She has extensive experience working with Military Veterans in both residential and outpatient settings.


Her clinical specialties include treatment and education for Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.


Jennifer received her Masters of Counseling from Grand Canyon University and her Bachelors in Psychology from Park University, Parkville, MO

Amy Klein, MC, BHT

Substance Abuse Counselor


Amy has over 10 years experience providing individual and group counseling for men, women, couples, families, children and adolescents.


Amy's clinical specialties include treatment and education for Substance Abuse, Grief and Loss and Serious Mental Illness.


A strong advocate of Twelve Steps, Amy volunteers as a NA group facilitator at Pima County Jail for women inmates seeking recovery.


Amy received her Master's of Counseling at the University of Phoenix and her Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Columbia College, Chicago, IL

Next Step Counseling is committed to providing services to Individuals, Families, Couples and Groups in an atmosphere of respect. We encourage clients to focus on strengths and successes they create for a more conscious and rewarding life.


We are a Community Counseling Agency providing Intensive Outpatient Treatment, Standard Outpatient Treatment and Relapse Prevention programs for Alchohol, Drugs, Domestic VIolence & DUI services.


Next Step Counseling is licensed by Arizona Department of Health Services.

Laura has 20 years experience working with diverse populations including women, families, individuals, couples and groups.


Clinical specialties include Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence, Parenting, Relationship Issues, Depression, Anxiety, Life Transitions and Grief and Loss.  


Laura received her Masters of Social Work from Arizona State University and her Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Arizona.


Laura speaks Spanish fluently.
